Just started a new project, mainly to prove to myself that I can do everything I used to do in 28mm in 6mm:
More pics etc on my blog:http://ablogofwar.blogspot.co.uk/

That is some really nice model making. What is your technique for painting the natural wood effect? I have got some carts and barrels to paint and that is just the kind of look I’d like to achieve.
thanks guys, the mine entrances are probably my favourite pieces too, im going to use the plain one for a orc/goblin cave entrance.
General, for the old wood look, I undercoated in black, and then painted it (unevenly) with Vallejo US Field Drab, before dry brushing with a Bone colour and washing with agarax earthshade (again unevenly)

Thanks Northern Monkey, I will give that technique a go.
No Problem
I have just updated the blog post with some more pics of the models in situ on a based board.
