OldBen1Participant
Some more buildings for some Egyptian Cthulhu
OldBen1ParticipantGive it time. I find that if I wait 6 months to buy something the moment sometimes passes, especially unrelated projects.
OldBen1ParticipantThe finished Farm Board:
Modular so I can use it for Fantasy stuff as well
OldBen1ParticipantOooooo, I like those trade stalls. When would I be able to order some?
OldBen1ParticipantOldBen1ParticipantA new barn I built for some Dunwich Horror ideas:
OldBen1ParticipantI did two things that were easy and also pretty flat. Plastic weapon sprues are great for broken weapons in the corner of the tile. I also glued some grass tufts between the cracks as well. I also tried adding mud by mixing sand, glue, and dark brown paint on some of the tiles. A quick dry brush makes it look like collapsed walls. It really breaks up all the grey.
OldBen1ParticipantSplurged and bought myself a Design Preservation building on sale at a local shop. Works as the National Grocery or local shops. Hard to make a kit look weathered.
OldBen1ParticipantHow did I miss this? Great work!
OldBen1Participant6 feet away of course!
OldBen1ParticipantOoo this looks good (pulls up a lawn chair).
OldBen1ParticipantI love Gzg miniatures but the picture thing makes me mental. Pendraken was like that too. Sometimes you can find painted images in Google images.
OldBen1ParticipantI love your jungle terrain. You used to sell it on your site right?
OldBen1ParticipantTerminator
johnny Pneumonia
Death Race
Planet of the Apes
Cyborg
Hardware
12 Monkeys
Brazil
OldBen1ParticipantI guess I’m not as picky. I like 15mm miniatures with matchbox cars. I have tons from 1920s to futuristic and I think they go well together. I usually try to spray them with a Matt varnish to cut down on the sheen. North star is selling some cool post apocalyptic accessories. I have also noticed that there are quite a few new matchbox cars that are coming out that have a post apocalyptic flare, lots of exhausts and guns. A lot of them are at the local supermarket! A quick and dirty paint jobs and you’re done.
OldBen1ParticipantOldBen1ParticipantPlasticard sheets embossed with a pattern. I use them for my rpg tiles.
OldBen1ParticipantOoooo, where is this going?
OldBen1ParticipantOldBen1ParticipantI have all 28 issues, plus the Byrne issues in x men as well. Great storylines and weird characters. I really enjoy you heavy black lining. It suits the comic medium well.
OldBen1ParticipantPulp Figures and Coppelstone for me are the gold standard. Many of them are strange and wonderfully sculpted. Gzg is often chunky too. I often find the realistic thin sculpts look a little light,
OldBen1ParticipantThat’s really cool! I wouldn’t want to be a ref in that game!
OldBen1ParticipantWonderful work! I especially like the Alpha Flight minis. They were my favourite comic growing up!
OldBen1ParticipantI guess sculpting is subjective. I thought she just looked petite!

OldBen1ParticipantI wanted to order some of these guys for some Serenity games, but I already ordered some Gzg space cowboys.
I like this sculpter I bought some Starport Scum lately.
OldBen1ParticipantThanks so much!
Boba Fett is from Highlander Miniatures.
Stormtroopers are from Rebel Miniatures.
The rest are a mixture of Khurasan, Ion Age, and GZG.
OldBen1ParticipantLooks good, I played 4 against darkness a lot with miniatures sitting on my desk at the same time. I like it so much I wrote my own 4 against Darkness alien supplement . Looks great!
OldBen1ParticipantThat’s really sweet. You are very industrious. You better be careful though, I’ve noticed other people looking at your workbench now too!
OldBen1ParticipantNo problem!
The scene is part of my Innsmouth build.
OldBen1ParticipantJoker is a 15mm gangster from Khurasan, painted by my friend The Painting Agency.
Batman is a 20mm kid miniature called Bat Kiernan from Hasslefree.
Since Batman should be larger he fits nicely.
OldBen1ParticipantIt reminds me of Tron with the vector graphics. Great work.
OldBen1ParticipantBatman is from Hasslefree and the joker is from khurasan.
OldBen1ParticipantThose Rebel Minis are really hard to paint. You did a fantastic job!
OldBen1ParticipantNot enough cover you say, that’s what bystanders are for!
OldBen1ParticipantThat’s probably why I add a lot of action to my games. If you watch the source material, there is really very little action. Apparently Blade Runner flopped at the box office because it was pushed as a Harrison Ford action vehicle. Audiences were put off by the slow detective story. The nightclub you’ve built is fantastic! Can you move the furniture around inside? A cool Terminator battle between Arni and Kyle Reece would be fun to play!
OldBen1ParticipantI like the ‘lived in’ look too!
OldBen1ParticipantI agree, this is lovely! I really enjoy the bright colours and the interiors. Keep them coming!
OldBen1ParticipantGreat stuff! The mat you use is from the Lazy Forager right? Did you buy the file or assemble the pictures together yourself.

One of the best 15mm sci fi blogs ever!
I’m sorry, I thought everyone would be familiar with his work already.
